This is a post I wrote after reading this.

The Planting of the Garden

8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the middle of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

We have the in the middle of the garden the tree of knowledge, which would be the Torah and the tree of good and evil which would be human understanding.

10And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became into four heads.

There is only one river leaving Eden and Satan lives in the water.

==> Waters are the home of Satan

Ezekiel 29:2-3

2 “Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

3 Speak, and say, ‘Thus saith the Lord God: “‘Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, “My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.”

Psalm 74:12-13

12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

13 Thou didst divide the sea by Thy strength; Thou breakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

Revelation 13:1

13 And I stood upon the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

But water also represents the word of YHVH!

We are watered from heaven.

===> Water from Heaven is a picture of the Word of God watering us.

Deuteronomy 32:2

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.

Isaiah 55:10-11

For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

so shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Hosea 6:3

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord; His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Joel 2:23-24

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He hath given you the early rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the early rain and the latter rain in the first month.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

11The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasses the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

Associated with “the land of “Havilah”. Havilah means “sandy land”.

The word “Pison” means “increase”.

However the word is derived from a more fundamental root word which means “to spring about, to frisk, to be scattered, be spread, or figuratively to act proudly”.

We have a river made up of the Word of God where Satan lives and it is spreading out.

It is from this idea of spreading, comes the figurative meaning. From spreading we get broad minded, cosmopolitan or sophisticated, and from thence, pride. Thus figuratively this river could mean pride.

Gold = Loving God’s Commandments

In Psalm 19:10

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psalm 119:72

72 The law of Thy mouth is better for me than thousands of gold and silver.

Psalm 119:127

127 Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold. of the honeycomb.

In Revelation 3:18, we are to buy gold from YHWH that has been refined in the fire.

In Revelation 21:21 it says in the last days we will walk on streets of gold.

The color gold reflects all colors except the color blue.

Gold absorbs blue.

If Gold keeps blue in itself and blue stands for remembering or doing God’s commandments then Yahweh requesting us to be like gold refined in the fire is to have the remembrance of the Torah inside of us.

Or, to put another way, to have the Law of God written on our heart.

Jeremiah 31:33

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Gold in Hebrew means

1 examine, scrutinize, try Psalm 11:5; Psalm 139:23; Job 7:18; עַפְעַמָּיו יִבְחֲנוּ בְנֵי אָדָם His eyelids try the children of men (search them through and through) Psalm 11:4.

2 prove, test, try.

a. with the metaphor of gold Job 23:10; וּבְחַנְתִּים כִּבְחֹן אֶתהַֿזָּהָב and I will try them as one tries gold Zechariah 13:9.

b. without metaphor, of God testing persons Psalm Zech 26:2; Zech 66:10; Zech 81:8; Jeremiah 9:6; their ways Jeremiah 6:27; the לֵב Psalm 17:3; Jeremiah 12:3; Proverbs 17:3; 1 Chronicles 29:17; reins Jeremiah 17:10; heart and reins Psalm 7:10; Jeremiah 11:20 (= Jeremiah 20:12).

c. of man testing or tempting God Psalm Jer 95:9; Malachi 3:10,15.

d. the ear trying words Job 12:11 = Job 34:3.

Niph`al Imperfect יִבָּחֵן Job 34:36; Genesis 42:15,16, to be tried, proved.

So it sounds like we have the Garden of Eden and flowing through Eden is God’s word but hiding in God’s word is Satan.  This river breaks into 4 rivers and one of the 4 comes from the land of sand and it’s full of pride.

Sand represents people who do not have or are not living by Torah because sand reflects light and the Word of God is light.  So it sounds like these people are testing God and living in sin.

Resurrection of the Bible

23 Dec

I was messing around on-line and ran across this post about Bible Codes and it got me to thinking, what if we’ve missed the message?

What I am saying is, what if the language of the bible is symbolical?

Material objects would be used to expresses things with properties associated with the object.

Why does it matter?

It’s a lot like asking: Why did Jesus Speak in Parables?

And that is the question that the disciples asked the Jesus, so lets take a look at his answer:

Jesus’ answer gives us the key into why the Bible has symbols and metaphors .

Matthew 13:10

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Matthew 13:11

11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Matthew 13:13

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Jesus spoke in parables so that only a select few would understand what he was saying. Only those who had the keys w ould understand.

This is important and could be the key to understanding what the bible is really saying.

Jesus also said…

Matthew 13:12

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.

It sounds to me like those that seek the hidden or spiritual meaning will understand while those that seek the earthly meaning will only become more confused.

Understanding the hidden meanings seem to be the main principle of the bible.

The reason for the bible is to understand and to understand means finding the hidden menaings.

Matthew 13:9-23

9 He that hath ears, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:

15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

18 Hear then ye the parable of the sower.

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.

20 And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it;

21 yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth.

22 And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23 And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Understanding is the foundation of the faith.

Understanding Bible Symbols and their meanings is understanding the Bibles message.

Understanding Bible Symbols is understanding Bible Prophecy.

This is apparent when looking at books like Daniel, Zechariah, and the Revelation.

Proverbs 4:7

7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; Yea, with all thy getting get understanding.
